Cian Dillon gets Ireland U21 call.

CIAN Dillon has been called up to the Republic of Ireland U21 team.

The 18-year-old striker, who joined QPR from Shamrock Rovers in January, will join his international teammates in Croatia on Monday, June 2nd, for a training camp that will feature two friendly matches. Dillon had already represented his country at the U19 level, scoring five goals in nine games, but this is his first call-up to the U21 squad. Jim Crawford’s team will play Croatia on Friday, June 6th, before facing Qatar on Tuesday, June 10th. Both matches will be held at the Gradski Stadion in Vrbovec.
