Ahead of the forthcoming Sky Bet League One season, Argyle Head Coach Tom Cleverley has unveiled three additions to his backroom staff.
Matt Bevans becomes the first-team coach, Chris Douglas becomes the first-team performance analyst, and Damon Lathrope becomes the assistant head coach.
All three new members join the 35-year–old’s backroom staff, which also includes goalkeeping coach Darryl Flahavan and first team coach Kevin Nancekivell.
Cleverley worked with all three at Watford. “Damon, Matt, and Chris are three people I know well and are all top class in their respective areas,” Cleverley stated, expressing his excitement about bringing all three to Argyle.
They and I are both familiar with our working styles, therefore I’m delighted they have chosen to participate in the fascinating project we have at Argyle.
“All three are really thrilled to be here in the South West and have embraced our plans as well as the club’s plans.
“I’m glad I was able to get them along so fast and set them up before preseason begins on Friday. We are all excited to get started as the hard work begins today.
Eddie Lattimore and Adin Osmanbasic have since departed the team. We wish them luck in the future and appreciate their contributions.
