SUNDERLAND will look for other goalkeepers after Marcin Bulka agreed a lucrative agreement to join Saudi Arabian club Neom.
The Black Cats have expressed great interest in Bulka, and have conducted several meetings with Nice over the Poland international.
Sunderland were willing to meet Nice’s asking price for the 25-year-old, but recently promoted Saudi side Neom agreed to a €15 million contract with the Ligue 1 club and were granted formal permission to have personal discussions.
Neom reportedly offered Bulka a big deal worth over £160,000 per week, well exceeding what Sunderland would have been willing to provide.

While Bulka initially expressed a desire to test himself in the Premier League, it appears that money has spoken, and he is on the approach of sealing a transfer to Saudi Arabia.
According to French media outlets, Bulka is presently having a medical examination with Neom officials, and his transfer is expected to be legally announced within the next days.
Sunderland are still determined to bolster their goalkeeping ranks this summer and will now shift their emphasis to other targets.
Anthony Patterson and Simon Moore remain on the club’s roster, however Nathan Bishop moved permanently to AFC Wimbledon earlier today.
Sunderland are poised to seal the club-record signing of Strasbourg midfielder Habib Diarra shortly, while they have also agreed to sign left-back Reinildo Mandava, who is a free agent after being released by Atletico Madrid.
