According to the BBC, Coventry City has received an offer from Sheffield United, a rival in the Championship, for defender Bobby Thomas.
Thomas was acquired by Frank Lampard’s team from Burnley in 2023, and since then, he has played a crucial role in the Sky Blues’ defense.
Thomas made 40 appearances for Coventry in the Championship last season, which helped them get to the playoffs before losing to Sunderland.
Last weekend, the 24-year-old center-back began Coventry’s season opener against Hull City, which finished in a 0-0 draw.
Sheffield United, who lost badly to Bristol City 4-1 to start their Championship campaign, are now showing interest in him.
