According to the Express, Millwall defender Japhet Tanganga has come to Crystal Palace’s attention along with Leeds United and Sunderland.
It will be extremely difficult for Millwall to hold onto the center-back this summer. He only has a £1.2 million release clause.
Tanganga, 26, first signed a loan agreement with the Lions in 2024, but it was later extended to a permanent position. Since then, he has grown to be one of their most valuable possessions.
Crystal Palace has entered the competition to sign him, according to the Express’s most recent update on his condition. Along with Burnley, Leeds United and Sunderland have also been brought up as admirers. He might be considered by the Eagles as a possible successor for Marc Guehi, whose future at Selhurst Park is uncertain.
