Derek McInnes feels the Hearts ‘pressure’ from Tony Bloom as boss sets sights on trophies to match £10m ambition.

Derek McInnes wants to offer Hearts fans trophies to shout about, admitting he knows exactly what new investor Tony Bloom wants from his £10 million.
Derek McInnes insists that Hearts is well aware of the pressure to deliver cutlery.
As he prepared for a run at the Scottish Premiership, McInnes stated, “I definitely feel there is pressure to deliver.” It has to be the case that what we serve exceeds expectations. “Most importantly, we must meet those expectations. “If you do that, you are usually there or thereabouts and successful.
In the end, it’s about striving to outperform those expectations. “I’m aware that we’re coming off a bottom-six finish, having failed to reach a cup final or compete in Europe. So we must ensure that those improvements are obvious to everyone.
“Hopefully, that translates into cutlery.
“How you define success can be measured on a variety of levels, such as increased value on the pitch, more revenue, or qualification for Europe. But I’m no different from fans. Cutlery represents real, tangible success.
“I’m well aware of it, and it’s what’s required of us moving ahead. “I know it’s coming.” Hearts have made early efforts in the transfer market, signing Stuart Findlay, Oisin McEntee, Christian Borchgrevink, Alex Kyziridis, and Claudio Braga.
