Matt Dibley-Dias has been signed by Chesterfield from Fulham, a Premier League team.
He signs a season-long loan with the Derbyshire club.
At the age of 14, the 21-year-old New Zealander joined the Craven Cottage team. He was frequently featured in the first team matchday squad and won Academy Player of the Year in 2022–2023. He played for Northampton Town on loan during the previous season.
“It feels good,” Dibley-Dias told Chesterfield-fc I’m glad we finished it early so I can settle in with the squad, start going, and enjoy the preseason. I’m thrilled.
“I know a lot of the boys who were here last season, including Harvey (Araujo), Devan (Tanton), and Michael (Olakigbe).” They all had nothing but positive things to say about the facility.
