Dundee eye Yan Dhanda loan swoop as Steven Pressley attempts to seal quick deal for Hearts outcast.

Pressley could raid his former club for the out-of-favour ex-Liverpool player. According to Courier Sport, Dundee has launched a loan bid for Hearts playmaker Yan Dhanda.

Dhanda, 26, made only 13 starts for the capital club last season after joining from Ross County in the summer of 2024.

He has slipped further down the Tynecastle pecking order following a busy summer of recruitment under new manager Derek McInnes, and the former Liverpool player is now surplus to requirements.

And the Dee have made a move for Dhanda, with Dundee manager Steven Pressley convinced the Hearts outcast is the man to inject creativity and attacking zeal into the Dens Park engine room.

Despite interest from elsewhere in Scotland, Dhanda is expected to travel to Dundee soon for advanced discussions.

The Dark Blues are confident a deal can be reached with Hearts. Prior to joining Hearts, Dhanda had an outstanding two years at Ross County, scoring 12 goals in 79 games.
