
Three persons were hurt in a fire that broke out in the bedroom of a town center home.
Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service dispatched four teams to the three-story property on Princes Street in Dunstable at 12:42 BST on Friday.
A woman with severe burns was transported to the hospital via air ambulance.
A man with hand burns and an elderly woman suffering from smoke inhalation received medical attention as well.
Crews from Dunstable and Luton utilized breathing apparatus, hoses, and high-pressure fans to extinguish the fire and smoke.
Firefighters estimated that the blaze had destroyed 70% of the room.
Bedfordshire incident & Rescue Service said an inquiry into the cause of the incident had started.
