Duo charged after woman ‘kidnapped and raped’ in the early hours

Two guys have been charged after a lady was allegedly kidnapped and raped.

On March 21, between 3 and 6.40 a.m., an event occurred at a property in Greenhithe.
It is claimed that the victim was taken to a property against her will and then raped.

On May 8, two individuals were detained and held in prison.

Nana Boafo Ansah, of Pearmain, Close, Greenhithe, has been charged with kidnapping, rape, assault by penetration, and disseminating an image or film of someone in an intimate condition without their consent.

Stephen Antwi, of Dunkirk Drive in Chatham, was also charged with kidnapping, rape, and publishing an image or video of someone in an intimate state without consent.

Mr Ansah, 46, and Mr Antwi, 45, were both remanded in custody and will appear before Maidstone Crown Court today (May 10).

Detectives are urging anyone who has information that can help their investigations and has not yet spoken with the police to call the appeal line.
