England star picks Elland Road as his next destination

This summer, Leeds United plans to add some players to their roster. However, there have been conflicting stories

about where they will find their players. After the season concluded, Daniel Farke and the recruitment team were

already at work.

For promoted teams, the recruitment process prior to the start of the season is crucial. Relegation or survival could

depend on getting good players in the door. When Leeds was last promoted in 2020, they were able to sign Rodrigo

Moreno, Raphinha, and Robin Koch. The Whites placed in the top half of the Premier League thanks in large part to

all of those acquisitions.

Phillips is still healthy enough to participate for a season at the age of 29. Despite his poor play, he has shown during

his time at Ipswich that he can be a valuable member of a Premier League team. The current Leeds team lacks Kalvin

Phillips’ profile and his wealth of experience.

Since he has occasionally been used in defence, Daniel Farke may have more alternatives.
