Charlton Athletic announced the signing of Thomas Kaminski in late June. The Belgian international custodian signed from Luton Town for an undisclosed amount. Standing 6ft 3in, he won the 2023/24 Premier League Save of the Season award and appeared in every game of the Hatters’ top-flight season, making the second-most saves in the league.

The 25-year-old was a crucial member of the Stockport team that finished third in Sky Bet League One last season, scoring 12 goals and assisting four times. Prior to it, he scored 21 goals in County’s promotion-winning 2023/24 season.

Charlton has also signed Jamaican international Amari’i Bell, whose contract with Luton Town expired. The left-sided defender has 28 caps for his country and 216 appearances in English football’s top two tiers. Sonny Carey is another guy who will play for the Valley next season. The latest Charlton Athletic transfer rumours

There have been a few tales of alleged transfer activity in the Valley.

According to FLW, the Addicks are competing with Millwall and Preston North End for the free transfer of Danish defender Mathias Ross. According to journalist Richard Cawley, Charlton are also interested at a third Luton player, Reece Burke.

He made only 17 Championship games for Luton last season owing to an injury that kept him out for more than three months. Jones’ former club, Luton, may make the move more plausible, especially since Thomas Kaminski and Amari’i Bell have recently joined.
