According to Football League World, several EFL clubs, including Portsmouth and Wrexham, are interested in signing Northern Irish prospect Tomas Galvin this summer.

The small nation across the Irish Sea has produced some talented players over the years, and Galvin could be the next to join the English leagues.

The 20-year-old attacker is currently playing for NIFL Premiership side Dungannon Swifts, who are fourth in the table. He is being tracked by a number of second and third-tier clubs, but securing his services will be costly.

Tomas Galvin has had an impressive season for the Dungannon Swifts.

Galvin, a Dungannon academy product, made his first-team debut in April 2023, but it wasn’t until the 2023-24 season that he really broke out, scoring 10 goals in all competitions in 34 appearances.

Galvin’s impressive form has continued into 2024-25, with seven goals in 35 appearances, including just 16 starts, with the 20-year-old playing in a variety of positions other than central striker, such as number 10 and wide on the left flank.
