Jesurun Rak-Sakyi had an impressive season on loan at Sheffield United in 2024/25, however their season ended in a play-off final defeat to Sunderland.
This season, English sensation Jesurun Rak-Sakyi enjoyed his second loan spell in the EFL, having thrived on loan to Charlton Athletic in the 22/23 League One season, scoring 15 goals and assisting eight times.
In the 24/25 Championship, the Crystal Palace youth scored seven goals and provided two assists for the Blades, but he was unable to aid Chris Wilder and his club in securing Premier League promotion.
Under Wilder, Rak-Sakyi played right midfield, and his quickness was a regular thorn in Championship defences this season.
As the summer transfer window approaches, the Blades and Birmingham City have expressed interest in his permanent services.

Rak-Sakyi, a former Chelsea Under-18 player, has established himself a capable operator for a good Championship club, with memorable performances including a 45-minute cameo against Coventry and a brace against Luton Town.
As was the case before the season, Rak-Sakyi will have multiple suitors, and his future destination is unknown at this time.
Graeme Bailey, Chief Football Correspondent at EFL Analysis, tells us exclusively: “His future is not 100% confirmed.
“Crystal Palace is still evaluating his future. I believe there is a significant likelihood he will finish up permanently in the Championship.
“Obviously Sheffield United have stayed down and had him last season, but I believe there will be a lot of options for him in the Championship.”
“I don’t believe anyone has been signed, although Birmingham definitely want at least one winger. According to my sources, they are involved.
“Palace has yet to make an official decision, but it appears he will be leaving. Personally, I don’t see Birmingham signing Rak-Sakyi and Kwame Poku.
“To be fair, I believe Rak-Sakyi has a bigger ceiling because of his Championship experience.
“Never say never. People love wingers, so Birmingham could want both.”
With Birmingham vying for Poku, Rak-Sakyi’s return to Bramall Lane is possible, but one underlying metric may prevent the 22-year-old from making a permanent move.

Rak-Sakyi has spent the most of his season at Sheffield United playing right midfield, where he has used his offensive skills to score all seven Championship goals inside the box.
The Eagles loanee’s raw pace and talent in one-on-one situations have made it difficult for defences to deal with all season.
Rak-Sakyi reminisced on his loan spell with the Blades before of the playoffs. He told CPFC.co.uk: “It’s a long season.
“There are a lot of games, so he (Chris Wilder) wants to keep us as fresh as possible, since we’re a pressing team, and he likes the energy.
“Obviously, I’ve mostly been playing for 60 minutes.”

Sheffield United’s 3-1 home triumph over Middlesbrough in February, in which the Palace loanee scored the opening goal, was the only time he played the entire game without being substituted this season.
With a “very good chance” that Rak-Sakyi ends up in the Championship after making a permanent move away from Selhurst Park this season, a player of his calibre and talent should be able to play more than one full 90 minutes.
The 22-year-old’s lack of starts and full games may have an impact on his decision to join a club for the following season.
