Exclusive: West Brom gives Ryan Mason ultimatum after job offer.

West Brom have given Ryan Mason until Sunday night to accept their offer to be the club’s new manager, Football Insider has learnt.
The 33-year-old is deciding whether to stay at Tottenham as Ange Postecoglou’s assistant coach or take on his first managerial role at The Hawthorns.
According to sources, Mason has been offered the position, but West Brom prefers a quick decision.
The Championship club is said to have alternatives lined up in case the former Spurs midfielder declines their job offer.
Mason emerged as the front-runner for the job despite having never previously held a top-level position, having learnt his trade under Postecoglou and Jose Mourinho.
According to Football Insider, Mason is close to agreeing to a deal and is in advanced talks over the final terms, but has yet to decide whether to accept the offer.
Ryan Mason to make West Brom decision following advanced talks.
The Baggies have been without a manager since April 21, when Tony Mowbray was fired after a 3-1 home loss to relegation-threatened Derby County.
Mowbray’s spell at The Hawthorns lasted only three months, having arrived in January after Carlos Corberan left to join Valencia following a turbulent season at the club.
On May 24, Football Insider reported that West Brom were in talks with Mason, who emerged as the top candidate for the position.
After finishing ninth in the most recent season, Albion are hoping to rebound in their quest for promotion next season.
Mason’s potential appointment would represent a shift from their previous decision to go with an experienced campaigner in Mowbray.

Paul Bracewell considers coaching position at The Hawthorns.
Along with Mason, the Baggies want to strengthen their coaching staff and are interested in signing Paul Bracewell after he left Tottenham.
On May 31, Football Insider exclusively revealed that West Brom will offer Bracewell a coaching position to resume his career immediately.
West Brom view the 62-year-old as an experienced operator who can guide and support Mason, 33, in his first major role.
On Friday, Football Insider exclusively revealed that Bracewell was dismissed by Tottenham after nearly five years as their elite development coach.
