Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie has cast doubt over Sheffield United signing off a move for Jack Robinson to Wrexham given the Blades’ defensive fragilities last weekend against Bristol City.
The Blades suffered a shock 4-1 defeat at Bramall Lane at the hands of the Robins, with the side looking disjointed in Ruben Selles’s first competitive game as boss.
This has raised concerns for supporters just one game into the Spaniard’s tenure, with a drastic change needed in the system to keep the Yorkshire outfit defensively sound.
Sheffield United travel to South Wales to take on Swansea City in their second fixture of the 2025-26 season, desperately needing a result to make up for the mauling they suffered on the opening weekend.
Meanwhile, the summer transfer window continues to tick down, and Jack Robinson’s future is currently up in the air, with Championship new-boys Wrexham reportedly lining up an ambitious swoop for the 27-year-old, as per The Sun.
Robinson only featured off the bench for the Blades last weekend, with Selles confirming it was due to his inability to play a part in their last two pre-season games.

With this news in mind, Lee Hendrie has weighed in with his thoughts over whether a Robinson switch to Wrexham will happen before the 1st September deadline.
