The Premier League resumes on Saturday when Brighton takes on Newcastle United, and Woltemade will be looking to build on his recent success.

In fact, in his first six games with the team, Newcastle’s club record acquisition had scored four goals. Over the duration of the international break, Woltemade has opened his account for the German national team and broken goalscoring records at Newcastle. A player who is still getting used to life in the Premier League shouldn’t be expected to score every time they play. Nevertheless, after a gruelling summer filled with Tyneside striker transfers, few would argue that the 23-year-old has begun better than many had anticipated. Hurzeler has been gushing over Newcastle ahead of their trip to the Amex Stadium. Before Saturday’s game, the Seagulls manager was chatting with Stadium Astro. Naturally, as a well-known German coach, he would be questioned about Woltemade. Leading people in German football have criticised the Newcastle forward because of the high price the team paid to acquire him at such a young age. Hurzeler, though, praised the former Stuttgart forward highly. “I’m thrilled for him, first and foremost. It’s difficult to adjust to the Premier League so fast, in my opinion,” he remarked.

He has a unique profile. Despite his height, he is a technical player. He is excellent. He is an excellent goal scorer and does a fantastic job of executing little plays in limited places. It will be difficult to defend him since, all things considered, he is a complete player with several strengths and a lot of confidence right now. Earlier this week, Woltemade scored for Germany in a World Cup qualifying victory in Belfast against Northern Ireland. It was his first national objective, and a significant one at that. With that win, the Germans moved one step closer to guaranteeing a spot in the main event next summer.
