FAREWELL, DAN MCLOONE

FAREWELL, DAN MCLOONE.

Millwall Football Club would like to wish Dan McLoone, Head of Technical Scouting, all the best as he leaves The Den for pastures new after 14 years with the Lions.

Dan has been with Millwall for over a decade and a half, starting with Millwall Community Trust and progressing to The Lions’ Academy Video Analyst in 2012.

McLoone then spent eight and a half years as a First-Team Video Analyst, where he witnessed many of his most memorable moments, including a Wembley victory in the Sky Bet League One Play-Off Final, crucial victories at Leeds United, and working under two of the club’s most famous managers, Kenny Jackett and Neil Harris.

Dan was promoted to Head of Technical Scouting in June 2022, and he is leaving with the best wishes of everyone at The Den.

“I am sad to see Dan go,” said Millwall’s Director of Football, Steve Gallen. “Dan was a huge help to me when I joined the club last summer.

“He is a big character around the place and a big Millwall fan, but he now moves on to his new role with our best wishes.” Dan, thank you for your service, and best of luck with whatever comes next!
