The goal of Port Vale is to tempt the stopper to move temporarily to Vale Park. After being promoted from League Two, PVFC is getting ready for life in League One.
The 22-year-old Marschall played for Crewe Alexandra the previous season. He made 51 appearances for the Railwaymen across all competitions, 46 of which were in the league.

He has consistently played for them at different young levels.
He had two distinct stints in the North East after being loaned out for the first time to Gateshead in 2022. Since then, the goalie has played for Crewe Alexandra and MK Dons.
How does Port Vale fare now? During this window, Port Vale must make sure that their hiring is done correctly.
Along with Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City, and AFC Wimbledon, PVFC was promoted from the fourth division and needs to be prepared for the move up a division.
Marschall should now try his hand at the top division after catching everyone’s attention at Crewe Alexandra previous season.
Given his youth, he has room to grow in the future. In recent years, Moore’s team has made inroads into the market to acquire players like Cameron Humphreys, Ben Waine, and Jordan Shipley, among others.
Over the next few months, they have the opportunity to add a few more new faces.
