Mitchell’s tenure as Newcastle United’s sports director will come to an end at the end of June, according to a recent announcement.

As of right now, Antonio Cordero will be the final player Newcastle signs under his direction. Although Newcastle will first loan Cordero out, it is hoped that he will become a Tyneside sensation.

Cordero will be viewed as Mitchell’s farewell present to Newcastle if he succeeds in black and white. There is another player, though, who may potentially fit that description.
