Four finals remain.

After suffering losses in their last two games, Aston Villa will be hoping to recover from a challenging week on the field.

Unai Emery’s team defeated Newcastle United resoundingly at Villa Park last weekend. They then went to the Etihad Stadium to play Manchester City, losing to Matheus Nunes’ stoppage-time goal before losing 3-0 to Crystal Palace at Wembley on Saturday to exit the FA Cup at the semi-final stage.

The players at Villa responded to the defeats on their official social media accounts, and they will be looking to bounce back this weekend when they meet Fulham in B6 as they resume Premier League play.

Loss at Wembley Villa’s run in this season’s FA Cup ended at the semi-final stage with a 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace, their first trip to the national stadium in five years.

The Premier League’s winning streak ended.

In Manchester, Villa lost to a heartbreaking goal in stoppage time that gave Man City a 2-1 victory, ending their run of five straight Premier League triumphs. After the game, Amadou Onana joined goal scorer Marcus Rashford on Instagram to talk about displeasure.
