Owen Goodman, the goalie at Crystal Palace, has been loaned to Huddersfield Town for the season.
Last season, when AFC Wimbledon gained promotion in League Two, the 21-year-old, who has played for England up to the under-20 level, was a constant presence.
Terriers manager Lee Grant stated on the team website that Owen “showed a hunger to succeed and enthusiasm to contribute to our shared goals in the season to come, with his own ambitions aligned to our own” in every conversation he had with him.
“He played a key role in AFC Wimbledon’s successes last season, and wants to push himself to improve further still.”
Goodman will start pre-season with the Premier League side before joining up with Huddersfield later this month.
