Graham Alexander ready to make first summer move as Bradford City add sought defender to League One squad

EFL Analysis can exclusively disclose that Graham Alexander is on the verge of making his first summer acquisition as Bradford City returns to the third division of English football. This season, the Bantams were one of three clubs to automatically advance from League Two, and there are strong expectations that the Yorkshire squad will be able to make a name for itself in League One the following season.

 

Many supporters are eager to see Bradford City succeed because of their large fan base and illustrious football past, and Graham Alexander has received a lot of praise for his team’s thrilling, offensive style of play. Bradford City to sign Curtis Tilt from Salford

Speaking exclusively to EFL Analysis, our transfer expert Graeme Bailey tells us Bradford are now on the approach of making their first addition to the squad this summer.

We have learned that the Bantams have won the race to sign Curtis Tilt, a defender for Salford City. A number of League One and League Two clubs expressed interest in the 33-year-old before the summer transfer window, but Bradford is expected to sign him. Tilt was a vital member of Salford this season, making 41 appearances across all competitions and serving as the team’s captain. However, after two years at the club, the center-half has decided to leave.
