How much Arsenal have offered for Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss has been revealed

Leicester City were relegated last month after losing to Liverpool, spending just one season back in the Premier League following their Championship title in 2023/24.
There has been an update regarding midfielder Bilal El Khannouss and transfer interest surrounding him.
EL Khannouss joined Leicester in the 2024 summer transfer window and has been one of their better performers throughout the season.
In other news, Wilfred Ndidi could be sold for a reduced price due to a relegation clause in the Nigerian’s contract. Several players are expected to leave Leicester as a result of their demotion, with Jamie Vardy’s departure already confirmed once his contract expires.
Champions League semi-finalists Arsenal have reportedly made an offer after being drawn to Mikel Arteta’s team’s play. This week, Moroccan news site Soccer 212 reported that negotiations between Arteta’s team and Leicester had begun.
It is believed that a €30 million offer had been made for the midfield player, though it is unclear if it was rejected. The outlet posted on X/Twitter:
“Bilel El Khannouss in Arsenal’s sights! The Gunners have started talks with Leicester and offered 30M€ for the Moroccan midfielder, who has had a great season.
Arteta confirms, El Khannouss is in. To be continued…”Since joining the Foxes in the summer, El Khannouss has mostly played in the number 10 position, though he can also play in a deeper midfield position and has occasionally been used out wide.
The 20-year-old has made 29 Premier League appearances, contributing two goals and two assists.
He has also recorded two assists in two FA Cup games and one goal in the Carabao Cup.
El Khannouss’ contract at the King Power Stadium runs until June 2028.
