Charlie Taylor was an integral part of the Burnley side under Sean Dyche in the Premier League, and even played a large part in the top flight under Vincent Kompany, too.
His performances across his seven-year spell at Turf Moor warranted a place at a Premier League side upon his departure from Burnley at the end of the 2023/24 season after the Clarets were relegated to the second tier for the second time in three seasons.
However, his time at St Mary’s Stadium has been a disaster so far, with a plethora of injuries limiting his time on the field, and despite Southampton readying up for a season in the Championship in 2025/26, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Taylor was allowed to leave the club this summer.
Samuel Seaman revealed that the 31-year-old may be an option for Norwich City this summer, as the Canaries look to return to the Championship’s top six under Liam Manning this season.

They may not have to spend too much in terms of a transfer fee to acquire his services, but Taylor has been on a Premier League-level wage for quite some time now, so Norwich may need to go above and beyond their expectations to get the left-back on board at Carrow Road this season.
