Huge update emerges on Danny Rohl’s Sheffield Wednesday future amid Southampton, Bundesliga exit talk.
Premier League and Bundesliga are linked. Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl has decided to leave the South Yorkshire club.
According to talkSPORT, the 36-year-old will leave his position at Hillsborough.
After leaving the Owls, the German manager is considering job offers from Southampton, the Premier League, Bundesliga, and Saudi Arabia.
Rohl signed a contract extension with Sheffield Wednesday in May 2024, with two years remaining. His release clause is estimated to be approximately £5 million.
The news comes after Rohl gave a series of cryptic interviews to the local and national press about his desire to advance his career.
Rohl’s 24/25 season with the Owls has been nothing short of turbulent: the South Yorkshire club briefly flirted with a play-off spot before off-field issues – late HMRC bills and unpaid staff and player wages – appeared to influence on-pitch performances.
