Iorfa Backs Arokodare to Succeed at Fulham with Iwobi, Bassey’s Support .

Dominic Iorfa, a former Super Eagles striker, believes Fulham would be the ideal next destination for Tolu Arokodare.

Iorfa suggested that the presence of fellow Nigerians Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey at Craven Cottage will help the striker adjust to life in the Premier League.

has been linked with a summer move to Fulham, with sources claiming the Premier League club is leading the race to recruit him ahead of rivals in England and around Europe.

Speaking exclusively to Footy-Africa, Iorfa said that the 24-year-old’s aerial talent and excellent work ethic made him an ideal candidate for English football.

“I believe it will be a good move for him because he has the physical attributes to play in England,” the former Queens Park Rangers striker stated. “He is a big, robust guy who can also run, so he should have no trouble adjusting to life in the Premier League if the deal goes through. I believe he will improve as a player if he gets to England.

Iorfa, who represented Nigeria at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, stated that Fulham provides a familiar setting that might allow Arokodare succeed right away. “We have two players there at Fulham that can help him settle down,” he said later.

“With Alex (Iwobi) and Calvin (Bassey), he will be in good hands if the move takes place. They are already acquainted with each other in the Super Eagles, so it will be straightforward. And monetarily, it will be better for him, as I am confident he will make more in England than in Belgium.
