Ipswich Town: Darren O’Dea joins Swansea City coaching team.

Darren O’Dea, a former Ipswich Town loanee, has been named assistant manager of Championship club Swansea City. The 38-year-old has taken over as Alan Sheehan’s number two ahead of the 2025-26 season, having previously worked as Celtic’s player pathway manager. O’Dea was previously the Scottish giants’ under-18s manager before taking over Celtic B in 2021. During his tenure at Parkhead, he had the opportunity to work with Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou’s first-team squad. During the 2010/11 season, Dublin-born O’Dea was on loan at Portman Road from Celtic, making 25 appearances for the Blues.
