According to TWTD, Ipswich Town is very interested in Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney.
Ipswich Town are preparing for Championship football and expect to be right in the middle of the promotion race next season. ITFC will aim for a quick return to the Premier League after finishing 19th in the 2024/25 season.
The Tractor Boys are still in a fantastic position, with solid financial backing, Kieran McKenna in the dugout, and several really talented players on the roster.
However, as the Championship becomes more competitive, Town will realise they require more fresh signings. Furthermore, an ambitious name has arisen on their transfer radar.

According to TWTD, Ipswich Town have expressed a keen interest in Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney.
According to the report, ITFC has been keeping an eye on the 23-year-old and has just approached him about his prospective availability.
It is stated that Hackney was expected to move to the first division this summer, but no substantial interest has arisen as of yet. That has motivated the Tractor Boys to take an aggressive approach to strengthening their midfield ranks ahead of the upcoming season.
Hayden Hackney is destined for a greater level
For some time, it has been assumed that Hackney is prepared for a higher level of football. The Redcar-born midfielder has been one of the Championship’s greatest midfielders for several seasons, and his value at Middlesbrough has grown as he matures into a leader.

The England U21 international has appeared 113 times for Boro, contributing 10 goals and nine assists along the way. He can play as a holding midfielder or as a playmaker from deep, but his all-action, well-rounded game is arguably best displayed in a somewhat more forward role.
As a result, Ipswich Town would be making a significant statement by keeping him in the Championship, especially given that Everton, Brentford, Fulham, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Porto, Bayer Leverkusen, and Stuttgart have all expressed an interest.
