Omari Hutchinson, an attacker for Ipswich Town, has stated that he is more concerned about playing at Euro U21 than with his immediate club future.

The 21-year-old joined the Blues on a permanent contract from Chelsea last summer after impressing on loan in the Championship in 2023/24.

He scored three goals and assisted twice in the Premier League last season, but he couldn’t help his team avoid relegation to the second division.

There is speculation surrounding Hutchinson’s future, with rumours of a £35 million relegation release clause and links to Leeds United, West Ham and Aston Villa.

However, he has stated that his primary emphasis is on playing for England U21, with any thoughts regarding the upcoming campaign following that.

“I’m focused on this tournament,” he answered when questioned about his future. “All I want is to win games and win the tournament.

“I think it’s a big tournament for us and this is my main focus.”

England U21 started the competition with three points, defeating Czechia 3-1 at the MOL Arena in Dunajska Streda.

Hutchinson commented on the performance, saying, “I think we played extremely well.
