Islington Barnard Park: Man charged after exposure incident

A man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself near a children’s playground.

According to police, the incident occurred in Barnard Park, Islington, about 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.

They claimed a witness saw a white male in a red jacket and dark bottoms exposing himself in the park.

Officers responded to the site and apprehended a suspect, who was later charged.

He is currently in detention.

The police are now asking anyone who was near the children’s playground and witnessed the event to contact them.
