Nottingham Forest have held talks with the representatives of former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz but a loan move will only be sanctioned if there is an obligation to buy the Brazilian.
According to reports in Italy, Forest are keen to bring Luiz back to England from Juventus as they look to continue their transfer business.
Forest are said to be willing to take the midfielder on loan but a potential sticking point remains a clause that holds the key to any deal.
Juventus want to insert an obligation to buy while Forest are keen on option to buy that is said to include clauses based on appearances and results.
It is claimed that if there is no breakthrough, Juventus will keep Luiz and look at other options on the market in a bid to release the midfielder from their books.

The Italian giants have to free up space in order to make their own transfers with Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma regarded as one of their targets.
