Calling her Coventry City’s latest celebrity admirer may be a stretch, but the Sky Blues have certainly piqued the interest of worldwide pop icon Kylie Minogue.
Following Saturday’s 2-0 play-off triumph against Middlesbrough, the club released their newest stunning behind-the-scenes footage ‘City Unseen’, which included celebrations in the dressing room after the final whistle at the CBS Arena.
An spontaneous performance of Kylie’s huge single ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’ was captured on camera and posted to the club’s Instagram account… and then remarked on by the pop phenomenon herself.
Jay Dasilva kicked things off by picking up the mic and gently singing the opening lines, ‘La-la-la, la-la-la-la-la…’, before the entire dressing area joined in for what turned out to be a boisterous singalong.
Kylie, who is currently on her ‘Tension’ tour in America, answered from her official, verified Instagram account, writing: La la la, followed by three joyful smile emojis with hearts and a single red heart at the end.
