Leeds ‘to hand Ange Postecoglou significant funds’ after Tottenham sack.

Ange Postecoglou might make an immediate return to the Premier League after being fired by Tottenham. Tottenham released Postecoglou just 16 days after winning the UEFA Europa League. The Lilywhites have named Thomas Frank as their new head coach. However, talk over Postecoglou’s future destination remains, with Leeds United now being cited.
Postecoglou could become the next Leeds United Head Coach
Postecoglou has apparently attracted the attention of at least one Premier League club [Daily Mail]. Fans of Leeds United are sure that if hired, the 59-year-old will propel the team to new heights.
| League | Matches | Wins | Draws | Defeats |
| Premier League | 76 | 31 | 11 | 34 |
And, speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham believes Leeds might offer Postecoglou a large sum of money if the Australian replaces Daniel Farke. “Postecoglou is the manager who finally got Tottenham over the line,” Wenham told the newspaper. “The likes of José Mourinho and Antonio Conte, who were paid significantly more, couldn’t accomplish it. As a result, this will be beneficial to him. “If you isolate his two seasons, he led Tottenham to fifth place after losing Harry Kane, then won a trophy and returned the club to the UEFA Champions League. As a result, I believe he is held in high regard and will land a decent Premier League job.
“I saw some reports about Leeds maybe interested in Postecoglou. That would be a wonderful appointment for the Whites, and I believe the Leeds owners have a large budget to invest. I do not view them as one of the clubs struggling at the bottom. Therefore, that would be a positive move for Postecoglou.”

Postecoglou has several options this summer
Brentford have started looking for a replacement now that Frank has been formally confirmed as Tottenham’s head coach. The bookies see Postecoglou as a strong contender for the role, and it’s no surprise that the recently fired Tottenham manager is in the mix. Postecoglou accomplished the impossible with Tottenham in his second season, as promised. However, it remains to be seen whether the Spurs hero intends to return to management anytime soon.
