Vanat, who has previously played in Dynamo’s Europa League campaign, has also appeared on some major domestic and international stages.
According to Sport.ua, any potential transfer would not be available until after the Champions League qualifying matches. Dynamo wants to keep him during this period to increase their chances of qualifying for the main competition.
The second leg of the Champions League play-off round is scheduled to end on August 27th, so any transfer may have to wait until then to be completed.
It has been reported that the Ukrainian club is willing to sell Vanat to a Premier League club, but not until after their Champions League campaign.
Where could Vanat fit in at Leeds?
In his career at the Kyiv-based club, he has 48 goals in 110 appearances, a decent return for a young player.
Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe has stated that the club intends to invest heavily after returning to the Premier League, and Vanat may be a promising young talent worth pursuing.
The club has been linked with experienced Premier League players like Callum Wilson, but may consider bringing in an unknown prospect with high potential.
Joel Piroe, United’s main striker, has scored 19 league goals this season. Given the apparent scarcity of Premier League-caliber forward options off the bench, Daniel Farke may have made a wise decision to bring in some competition for the Dutchman.
