As Stoke City approaches a “two-year deal” for an England youth international, Leeds United struck a blow to the transfer.

Tezgel is a talented young forward who has earned England’s under-16, under-17, and under-20 caps.
But with Stoke, he hasn’t had many first-team opportunities, and his future with the Potters hasn’t been assured.
The out-of-contract Tezgel was reportedly presented with a high offer by Leeds, but it now looks like he will remain at his current club.
Mike McGrath of The Telegraph claims that he is agreeing to a two-year contract before being loaned out for the upcoming campaign.
He scored three goals in 17 games for Milton Keynes Dons during the 2023–24 season, when Stoke last shipped him out.
Tezgel, who has obviously outgrown under-21 football, might benefit greatly from spending the entire season on loan.
