Leeds United ‘given green signal’ to sign Semih Kilicsoy after £17m+ bid
According to reports, Leeds United is now more interested in signing Semih Kilicsoy, a striker for Besiktas.
His groin injury from the previous season has been evaluated by injury specialist Dr. Rajpal Brar in advance of a possible medical examination.
The 19-year-old scored just four goals in 46 appearances in all competitions last term.
Kilicsoy expected to clear pre-transfer medical
Despite the groin injury, the Turkey Under-21 international is not expected to face any issues with his medical, according to Dr Brar.

Leeds United must steer clear of Kilicsoy
Kilicsoy’s signing could be a mistake for Leeds United because the Besiktas striker has a questionable goal-scoring record and is still unproven at the top level.
Despite his talent, he had a lacklustre goal total the previous season, which is not good for a Whites team that needs a consistent finisher to win promotion.
He might find it difficult to rapidly adjust to the physicality and intensity of the Premier League given his youth and lack of senior experience.
Although his 42 goals in 64 Under-19 games show promise, his inconsistent play has been revealed since moving up to adult football.
The Elland Road outfit, under Daniel Farke, require immediate impact players, not a developmental prospect.
They shouldn’t pursue this deal since investing extensively in Kilicsoy could lead to squad imbalance and financial strain.
