Ramazani Linked with Rangers Move, But Leeds In No Rush to Sell
Leeds United are reportedly in no hurry to part ways with Largie Ramazani, despite growing interest from Scottish Premiership side Rangers, according to a new update from TEAMtalk.
The 24-year-old winger made the switch to Elland Road from La Liga outfit Almeria last year in a move worth a reported £10 million, stepping in as a replacement for Crysencio Summerville, who joined West Ham United.
Although Ramazani featured throughout Leeds’ Championship title-winning season, he did not establish himself as a consistent starter—falling slightly short of the expectations that accompanied his signing.
Rangers Eye Up Leeds Winger as Potential Target
The report claims that Rangers—now operating under the umbrella of 49ers Enterprises, the same ownership group that took control of Leeds in 2023—are keeping close tabs on Ramazani as they aim to bolster their attacking options.
With Rangers looking to close the gap on arch-rivals Celtic, the club is actively seeking young, high-potential attackers, and Ramazani’s pace and flair on the wing have reportedly placed him on their radar.
However, as of now, there have been no formal offers or negotiations from the Glasgow-based side.
Farke Still Believes in Ramazani’s Upside
Despite the interest from north of the border, Leeds are not actively trying to move the Belgian winger on, and manager Daniel Farke is said to still value his potential as part of the squad heading into their Premier League campaign.
According to the report, there’s no sense of urgency on Leeds’ part to sell, especially given that Ramazani still has time to develop further and contribute more regularly.
That said, competition for places could intensify soon. Leeds are reportedly working on a permanent deal for Tottenham’s Manor Solomon, which could again limit Ramazani’s opportunities for regular game time.

A Career That Has Already Crossed Borders
Born in Belgium, Ramazani has had a diverse footballing journey. He began his youth career at Charlton Athletic, before being snapped up by Manchester United, where he impressed at academy level but failed to break into the senior squad.
In 2020, Almeria secured his services, and over four seasons in Spain, he made 128 appearances and scored 22 goals. His time in La Liga helped refine his attacking instincts and boosted his profile before he made the leap back to England.
In his debut season at Leeds, Ramazani managed seven goals in 31 appearances, helping the club clinch the Championship title, even if his impact was more rotational than central.
