Lennon Miller gives update on future as Rangers tipped to make sensational move by Motherwell teammate
This season, the 18-year-old midfielder made his debut for Scotland, and his performance at Fir Park has put him squarely in the running for Young Player of the Year.
Lyall Cameron’s pre-contract agreement with Rangers has already been confirmed, and the Gers are apparently focusing on Josh Mulligan at Dens Park.
However, in anticipation of what looks to be a hectic summer, Lennon Miller is remaining silent about his future.
It follows Miller’s designation as a £15 million player who might only fetch £4 million this summer.
Clubs in Italy, England, and France have all been linked to moves for Lennon Miller, who is supposedly a wanted man.
Although the midfielder is being silent, there is a lot of conjecture that Miller may go this summer after Udinese’s bid was rejected in January.
When asked about rumors concerning his future, Miller told Sky Sports, “To be honest, I don’t really look at it.”
You see the strange thing, of course, but I should just concentrate on playing for Motherwell, trying to achieve the greatest results possible, and seeing where that leads.
Lennon Miller’s remarks coincide with Andy Halliday, a teammate from Motherwell, advising the midfield player to switch to European football.
Although the 33-year-old midfielder from Fir Park didn’t want to speak for the teenager, Halliday also predicted that Rangers and Celtic will make a summer transfer move.
Halliday responded, “I’d imagine Celtic and Rangers will, aye,” when asked if Rangers will make a bid for Lennon Miller.
“I don’t want to put words in his mouth, but based on the reports, I believe he wants to travel to Europe.”
