According to reports, Brentford has found a substitute for Thomas Frank in case the Danish manager takes Ange Postecoglou’s post at Tottenham. Frank is now a strong candidate to make the quick trip from west to north London after Spurs revealed Postecoglou’s departure on Friday night.

To get Frank to leave Brentford, Daniel Levy’s team would have to provide a substantial compensation package.
Brentford would like to retain the player who helped them get promoted and made the Bees a Premier League mainstay. But preparations are on in case Frank leaves for Spurs.
According to TalkSPORT, Brentford is considering Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna, who is valued by the club’s leadership despite his team’s failure to finish in the top division this season. Spurs’ preferred pick to succeed Postecoglou is Frank, and although there hasn’t been a formal proposal, Brentford has been informed of their opponents’ interest.
Levy and Frank have had several direct conversations, and in the days ahead, talks are anticipated to intensify.
Frank is the top contender, even though the former Brighton manager has already rejected a return to English football. He has been named among players like Marco Silva, Andoni Iraola, and Roberto De Zerbi.

Frank’s team has finished 13th, ninth, 16th, and 10th in their four seasons in the top tier after leading Brentford to promotion in 2021, and they were in the running for a spot in Europe.
Although he failed to keep Ipswich from relegation, McKenna, who had many supporters, would be expected to carry on the excellent work of his possible predecessor. Before deciding to commit to Ipswich, the former Manchester United coach was connected to the top post at Old Trafford a year prior, along with Chelsea rumors.
Frank, on the other hand, was a candidate for the Aston Villa position while Johan Lange was in charge in the Midlands. Frank had worked with Tottenham’s technical director at Lyngby, a Danish team.
He might have a difficult time if he decides to join Spurs because the team’s players are reportedly furious over Postecoglou’s dismissal after their Europa League triumph and want to leave.
