Two lanes of the M6 motorway in Cheshire are closed due to a crash today (Friday, May 2).
The southbound carriageway is closed to traffic between Junctions 19 (Knutsford) and 18 (Middlewich).
The lane closures were first reported around 3.30 p.m.
According to Inrix, the traffic data company, an accident on M6 Southbound from J19 A556 (Knutsford) to J18 A54 Middlewich Road (Middlewich / Holmes Chapel) has closed two lanes and caused traffic to queue. “Lanes one and two (of four) are closed.”
The M62 motorway in the North West has been closed today. Lanes are also closed due to an incident on the M60.
