Luton Town, Barnsley, Leyton Orient among clubs battling for 26-year-old forward

Luton Town, Barnsley, Leyton Orient and Blackpool are all eyeing a move for former Huddersfield Town forward Josh Koroma, as per Football League World.

Luton Town are among the clubs looking to win promotion from League One next season and in their bid to do so, LTFC could move for Josh Koroma. However, they face strong competition with Barnsley, Leyton Orient and Blackpool all keen.

According to Football League World, the 26-year-old has a list of potential suitors after his time at the Terriers came to an end this summer.

After moving to Huddersfield Town in 2019 from Leyton Orient, Koroma made 170 appearances and scored 35 goals for the club. He also spent time out on loan at Portsmouth and Rotherham.

In what has been a busy summer so far at the John Smith’s Stadium, Koroma was one of many senior players allowed to leave upon the expiry of their contracts. The forward was one of eight players who left the club for nothing, whilst new manager Lee Grant got to work on his rebuild.

Now, he could find solid options elsewhere with Luton Town among those keen.
