Barry Bannan, Sheffield Wednesday’s captain, has committed his future to the club despite the Owls’ current difficulties

“Following rumors over the next stage of his career and interest from suitors, the midfielder has now made his intentions known… Bannan, who has been confirmed as a Wednesday player once more, will continue his decade-long tenure at Hillsborough, where he has made 447 appearances and is eighth on the club’s all-time list.

‘Baz’ joined Wednesday in 2015 and just marked a decade with the club. His effort today exemplifies why he is so popular among the fans.
