Police said the woman died at a property on Kingsbury Avenue in Dunstable.

 

A 84-year-old man admitted to killing his wife but denied her murder.

Margaret Worby, 84, was discovered dead in a house on Kingsbury Avenue in Dunstable by police shortly after 13:40 GMT on January 23.

Roger Worby, of Kingsbury Avenue, appeared at Luton Crown Court and pleaded guilty to manslaughter but not to murder. He’s being held in custody.

A further hearing is scheduled for September 5th, followed by a trial on November 3rd
