Man and Woman Dead After ‘Unexplained’ Incident in Chichester
Two people have been found dead following an “unexplained” incident at a property in Bexhill, prompting an ongoing investigation by Sussex Police.
Emergency services were called to an address on College Road at approximately 12:15 BST on Friday, after concerns were raised for the welfare of two individuals inside the property. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of a man and a woman.
A Sussex Police spokesperson confirmed the deaths and stated that the matter is currently being treated as unexplained. “Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths,” they said.
A police vehicle remained stationed outside the property on Friday afternoon, with two officers seen standing guard at the scene as investigations continued.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released, and their next of kin are being informed.
Authorities are urging anyone with information that may assist the investigation to come forward.
