Two people were confirmed dead after being discovered at an address in Bexhill.

Sussex Police were called around 12:15 BST due to concerns for the well-being of two people at an address on College Road.

Officers arrived and said they discovered two people inside the property.

A 75-year-old man died at the scene, and a 90-year-old woman with a serious head injury was pronounced dead on Saturday.

Police said the incident was currently being treated as unexplained, and investigations were underway to determine the full circumstances.

The force stated that residents should expect a greater police presence in the area.
