A man was arrested in Norwich following an alleged stabbing in Kesgrave.

The victim, a man in his twenties, is in hospital after being stabbed in a fight in the Suffolk town near Ipswich.

Officers were dispatched at 9.25 a.m. on Thursday following reports of a fight involving two men on a cycle path.

His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The attacker, a man in his twenties, was apprehended in Norwich this afternoon by police on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

He has been taken to the Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
