Man charged after crowbar raids in Poringland and Sandy Lane.

A man has been charged with raiding three convenience stores using a crowbar.

The incidents occurred at shops in Poringland, Stoke Holy Cross, and Sandy Lane near Trowse between February 26 and March 19.

Each raid involved the theft of money using a crowbar.

Some convenience stores were broken into overnight, while others were targeted during business hours.

Jamie Curtis, 31, from Church Hill, Saxlingham Nethergate, has been charged with two counts of robbery and one of burglary.

He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody.

Curtis is scheduled to appear at Norwich Crown Court on April 23.
