A man, along with three others, will face trial for the murder of a teenager in Norwich after denying the charge.

Kalvin Taylor (Image credit: Norfolk Constabulary). On September 21, last year, the 19-year-old’s body was discovered in a ground-floor flat on Lefroy Road in Mile Cross.

On Thursday, Fornah appeared at Norwich Crown Court and denied murder charges.

Leon Bangura, 20, from London, Adam Dugdale, 55, from Shorncliffe Avenue, Norwich, and Carrie-Anne Hall, 51, from Lodge Breck, Norwich, were scheduled to face trial at the end of April.

On Thursday, the case was rescheduled for a case management hearing. The four defendants will now face trial in the autumn.

Matthew Holmes, 51, of Bowthorpe Road in Norwich, will also stand trial after being accused of assisting an offender.

Matthew Holmes (Image by Newsquest) Bangura has also been charged with two counts of involvement in the distribution of Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply, and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

In a tribute, Mr Taylor’s mother expressed that her son’s death had “left our family in a million pieces”.

“Kalvin was a son, a grandson, a brother, a cousin and a friend to us all,” she told me.

“We will remember and miss Kalvin every day of our lives.

“We love you Kalvin, rest in heavenly peace until we meet again.”
