Man rushed to major trauma centre after stabbing on Stanmore bus.

A man was taken to a major trauma centre after being stabbed on a bus in Uxbridge Road, Stanmore, earlier today (10 April).

The incident occurred in broad daylight near Brockhurst Corner, prompting police to form a cordon around a 340 bus and the nearby bus stop. The 340 service runs from Harrow to Edgware.

The bus and bus stop are both cordoned off with police tape.

Several ambulances and two police vehicles were dispatched to the scene shortly after 11.30 a.m.

The London Ambulance Service responded to reports of a stabbing on Uxbridge Road in Stanmore at 11.30am today (10 April).

“We deployed resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and a paramedic from our tactical response unit. We also sent out a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”

The 340 is cordoned off.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson stated: “Police were called to reports of a stabbing on a bus on Uxbridge Road, Stanmore, at 11:32 a.m. on Thursday, April 10.”

“Officers responded alongside the London Ambulance Service. One man in his 70s was transported to the hospital for treatment, where his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.

“The have been no arrests at this early stage and enquiries are ongoing.”
